Backdate: Melbourne & Brisbane 16th to 23rd July 2006

It has been a month since i return from brisbane on the 23rd July 2006. Has been very lazy after returning back to sg to update my blog. So here i am to backdate on some stuffs. First to come is my trip to Melbourne. My family and relatives(in all 8 people) arrived in Tullamarine Airport while i took the domestic flight from brisbane to meet up with them. Then we spent 2 nites around Melbourne city(18th to 20th July) and on 20th July around 4pm, we took a domestic flight back to Brisbane. 21st July, my family & relatives attended my convocation. Right after my covocation, we head straight down to Gold Coast and spent the rest of the time there till our flight back to sg on the 23rd July.

On the 3rd of August, went for a job interview with Udyna, a joint venture by fujitsu & sumitomo then on the next day with ST Electronics. That is the only 2 interviews i went so far. Then, I was suppose to go for an interview on the 29th August and with the idea that the previous 2 interviews are fruitless.

Today(24th August) at about 11.20am, I received a call from ST and they said that I have been offered the job. Initally, i was overjoyed but when the caller asked me if i can start work on the 28th August, I paused for a while cos they didn't actually give me time to consider, they only asked me how much i expect and said they will get back to me soon. So, now it depends on how much they going to offer and if it is reasonable then i shall go for it since its near where i stay. Hope to hear from them tomorrow.
